Meaning for Life

2 Kings 22, Jeremiah 1-2, Matthew 4:12-e

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” Matthew 4:1

God gives meaning to life. Faith in Jesus is not simply about a person gaining heaven. When one comes to faith God opens up their life to a greater sense of purpose—to help others experience the same wonder of grace and life that lasts forever to others. God’s desire is for all people to have life in Jesus. Those who come to faith, then, also come to share that same desire. Isn’t that a lot better than just trying to get through life or have enough money saved for retirement?
