My Family

Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” Mark 3:34-35

People were looking at Jesus as if he were a little crazy because he did not operate the way others did. I think they called his family in to get him and bring him home. Jesus looked at thos e who believed and said they were his family. Those who follow Jesus are family. This does no belittle his (your) blood family; it elevates your brothers and sisters in Christ to family status. I am so blessed to call you my family. I grew up in a family of seven kids. We love each other. In Jesus I have a family of millions—what a blessing!
