Acts 20:6-21-e, Psalms 91-93
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2
I have been a Christian my whole life. The longer I live in the faith the more I see that simple is best. The more I learn of God the more I realize how much I do not yet understand. The psalmist says something profound here. Where I used to seek to explain all the nuances of God, now I am happy to say—he is my safe place. I don’t understand all that he does but I trust him. And if you want to know why? I trust him because 2000 years ago he died to save me and I have seen him do some neat stuff in my lifetime. I am so blessed. The good news is you can trust him too. He will not let you down.
