To Know Jesus

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings. Philippians 3:10

I know a lot of people, but there is much about most of them I don’t know. Nancy and I have been married a long time and there is still much about her I can learn. There are parts of me I don’t understand. So don’t think you really KNOW Jesus. But realize this—the joy of friendship, the joy of marriage, is to grow in what you know about the other. I am with Paul, “I want to know Christ!” My daily joy is to learn something more about him. Don’t let Satan fool you into thinking you know all you need to know about Jesus (or your friends, spouse, etc.). Make this a day of blessing—learn more!
