What Do You Think, Jesus?

Nehemiah 9-10, 1 Chronicles 9:1-34, Colossians 2:16-e


Do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink. Colossians 2:16


I am not sure we hear this today as they heard it in the first century. Today people would judge your diet for health reasons; then they made spiritual judgments based on what you ate. That does not mean we should eat whatever we wish. Paul says in the next verse that everything is framed in Christ. Does my diet, my choice of television shows – do these honor Jesus. Do they help me (and those around me) to see his work more clearly? You and I have a judge of one – Jesus. He is a great judge, considering he sacrificed his life to save me. So, Jesus, what do you think about . . .
