Why Would God Allow Fear?

This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. Deuteronomy 2:25

Why would God want to scare people? In this case it was so that they might realize HIS power in the military victories of his people. Someone once told me God’s word “comforts the terrified and terrifies the comfortable.” God still scares those who do not think they need him. This is why may who do not walk in the faith do not like to talk about God or death or failure. But it is in that terror that God would have you to ask for help. Then he is quick to forgive and to give comfort. God would use our fear to have us run TO him – not away from him. He wants us to run into the arms of Jesus and find healing and hope. Let Him take away your fear.
