Work on Simple Truths

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

There is comfort in hearing God say that some things I won’t understand – they belong to him to know. There is a lot I don’t understand even though I try to, so letting go is comforting. Still, ignorance is not bliss. There are many things “revealed to us” by God that I need to work to grasp and follow. I think of God’s call for me to love all people, take care of my wife, don’t say bad things about people and much more. These I need to work to understand and to do. Let God be God today and you and me . . . let’s seek to be faithful. Have a great day!
